Toddler Program

The Toddler Program at YSA is the first time the child attends class without a family member. The program is rich in design, giving the young child the opportunity to discover, explore with curiosity, engage with peers in a social setting, and learn through an interactive play model. It is an environment that encourages a young child to grow in all areas of development as he/she begins to find their voice. The children enjoy music class, a regulation sized gymnasium, an outdoor classroom and an outdoor play area.

Language

This class is a continuation of an environment that is rich in the modeling of language, with opportunities for a child’s  growth and participation.

Outdoor Play

Outdoor activities allow the young child to explore nature in a safe and exciting way.

Music and Movement

Young children naturally gravitate toward music and movement. We therefore feel it is important to incorporate music class and movement as an integral part of the program.
